    RAY • ALLEN is looking for a detail-oriented, creative problem solver for our full-time Business Intelligence Analyst II position. The candidate will be part of our Data Engineering team and will be developing and maintaining BI Dashboards primarily using Qlik Sense and helping drive data engineering and data analytics projects. This will involve: gathering requirements, data cleanup, forming ETL processes, creating unique data models, designing mockups, meeting with stakeholders, analyzing data, formulating KPIs, and crafting dashboards and reports.

    In addition to creating BI Dashboards, you will also be integral in developing and standardizing processes to gather data and/or connect to data sources, automation and scripting, business workflows, and helping the team leads and managers to advance the use of BI tools in their departments. Through effective, accurate, and efficient interpretation of data, you will improve the company’s overall business acumen.

You stay meticulously organized in pressure situations. Last but not least, you are a skilled communicator, adept at explaining complex results to non-technical audiences.

    Your responsibilities

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Work with internal and external teams to collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer/business needs
    • Create ETL process and data models to achieve desired outcome, primarily using Qlik Sense scripting
    • Create dashboards, stories, and processes primarily using Qlik Sense
    • Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to explore problems and conduct data analysis
    • Perform exploratory data analysis and audit reports to locate and resolve errors and discover actionable insights
    • Gather and build requirements documents and task out projects
    • Create and maintains internal data sets and tables within tools or standard templates
    • Create and maintain automation scripts to efficiently gather and transform data
    • Drive implementation, training, and adaptation of tools and reports
    • Interact with and proactively communicate with teams regarding issues and new ideas
    • Support tools and processes for data analysis and reporting
    • Document standards and procedures when creating reports
    • Use advanced analytical techniques when required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Our requirements

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, and/or Reporting Analyst
    • 3+ years’ experience in development, design, and implementation with Qlik Sense or similar BI platform such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.
    • Intermediate SQL skills and experience with creating de-normalized or star-schema database models
    • Intermediate programming/scripting skills (Python a plus)
    • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., nested lookup functions, pivot tables, VBA/macros)
    • Understanding of statistics and analytical techniques, such as linear regressions, time series analysis, etc.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with open-ended problems
    • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment
    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, time-management skills, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
    • Very detail-oriented and highly organized
    • Leadership and/or Project Management skills a plus
    • Understanding of IT asset management, networking equipment, and contract management a plus
