Zakres obowiązków

In this role, you will oversee accounting operations for the Polish entity, while also managing financial activities across 11 Central and Eastern European countries, including Poland, Ukraine, the Baltic states, and Southeastern European countries.

Regional Responsibilities (70%)

Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting across the CEE region
Managing all tax matters, including transfer pricing compliance and adherence to international and local financial regulations
Acting as a compliance ambassador, ensuring both internal and external accounting regulations are met, with clear financial and fiduciary responsibilities
Driving process optimisation in accounting under the guidance of the Director of Accounting and central treasury functions
Supporting regional finance initiatives and structural projects
Leading the regional accounting team

Local Responsibilities - Poland (30%)

Managing month-end and year-end closing processes for the Polish entity, ensuring accurate financial statements and cash flow reporting
Overseeing local tax matters, including tax declaration processes and regulatory compliance
Acting as a key compliance representative, ensuring alignment with local accounting and financial regulations
Coordinating external audits and ensuring smooth cooperation with auditors
Leading the local accounting team and collaborating closely with shared services teams

Proven experience in a financial role, preferably in an international environment
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing financial teams
Solid knowledge of Polish GAAP, IFRS, and accounting processes
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
High level of accountability, pro-activity, and ability to work independently in a dynamic setting
Experience working in matrix structures
