Zakres obowiązków

Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring high performance and adherence to deadlines
Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act
Calculate and oversee corporate income tax (CIT), including withholding tax (WHT)
Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT declarations
Oversee accounting processes related to production and inventory (warehouse accounting)
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial and accounting data
Coordinate reporting to external institutions (e.g., GUS, NBP)
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and consulting firms
Represent the company before tax authorities and other regulatory bodies
Work closely with the Management Board and international headquarters
Drive improvements in financial processes and implement automation initiatives

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chief Accountant within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with advanced ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle)
Very good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
Proven experience in team management
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
High level of accountability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
