    Valor Paytech is a rapidly growing US company headquartered in New York, looking to scale its development team globally to meet business needs. We are searching for developers to be part of our cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment and support. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for developing core functionality of a financial payment switch, analysis, design, development, and testing of Point of Sale (POS) applications. You will be required to analyze and understand unfamiliar code, translate complex system requirements and specifications into elegant design and modular code. As a Switch or POS developer you will need to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency as well as help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Applications need to be developed with good design and well thought out user interface to streamline business processes. As a Switch or POS Developer you will be working on reviewing requirements, story elaborations, conducting code design and review sessions to deliver high quality end-product for the payment processing industry. You will also be focused on designing, developing and testing EMV, CLESS, TCP/IP Connections, Wired and Wireless communication, Display and Printer Modules. You should also be a team player, willing to collaborate, learn and master a mixture of different technologies and techniques.

    
    

    Your responsibilities

    • Develop new functionality, reusable code and modules based on defined requirements

    • Analyze and solve complex problems using modern technology and techniques

    • Optimize application for speed, scalability, and ease of use

    • Manage trade-offs between latency, throughput, simplicity, scalability and maintainability

    • Implement security and data protection guidelines based on PCI compliance requirements

    • Work with superiors and support/coach junior developers on the job

    Our requirements

    • Min. 1-2 years of experience

    • Experience & Strong Knowledge in C, C++ and Linux/Unix

    • Experience in Python/PHP

    • Experience in MySQL / Postgres / SQL

    • Experience with API Integration

    • Experience in application development for POS terminal

    • Experience with TCP/IP Connection Protocols

    • Experience with Communication Modes: Ethernet, Dial-Up, WIFI, GPRS & USB

    • Strong Knowledge and Experience in EMV standards

    • Strong Knowledge and Experience in ISO8583 payment protocol

    • Knowledge of the Payment domain

    • Must have knowledge of Agile methodologies

    • Experience with GitLab

    • Strong Communication skills and should be fluent in English

    Valor Paytech is a rapidly growing US company headquartered in New York, looking to scale its development team globally to meet business needs. We are searching for developers to be part of our cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Initial project involves taking an existing web portal and building an updated portal with a new look and feel, along with existing and new functionality using the latest technology. You will be part of a team designing and developing a rich web- based UI for one of our applications. You will be focused on designing and developing leading- edge web UI, for both desktop and mobile, using the latest technologies and patterns. You will be working with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player, willing to collaborate, learn and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

    Our requirements

    • Min. 2-3 years of experience

    • Experience with Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento / BigCommerce Platform is big plus

    • Knowledge in payment gateway implementation and APIs implementations

    • Implementations/Development of Plugins, Front-End and Back-End processes

    • Experienced candidates must know about the creation of Custom plugins

    • Hands on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery React Native, ReactJS, and NodeJS

    • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and MySQL DB

    • Good experience with open-source technologies, TypeScript, SQL Procedures

    • Object oriented programming and web application development

    • Should be able to diagnose/solve problems and quickly understand unfamiliar code

    • Must have knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with GitLab

    • Strong Communication skills and should be fluent in English
