Zakres obowiązków

  • Responsibility for finance, tax and reporting processes of polish entity (local accounting + group reporting)
ACCOUNTING & TAX
  • Led and supervise a finance team (2 FTEs) - reviewing deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.
  • Overseeing tax compliance processes, including the review of VAT, CIT, WHT, and other tax filings prepared by the Chief Accountant.
  • Managing tax risk by providing guidance to the business and monitoring changes in tax regulations, assessing their potential impact on company operations.
  • Overseeing the accuracy of financial reporting (P&L, BS, CF) - in close cooperation with the Chief Accountant and Group Finance.
  • Ensuring timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Cooperation with local and global stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Preparing and coordinating reporting requirements for banks, tax authorities, and the Central Statistical Office.
  • Intercompany reconciliations and balances.
  • inventory management and stock control activities.
  • Supervising settlements with banks, suppliers, customers, and other business partners, including the management of provisions and accruals.
  • Managing and coordinating annual external and internal audits, as well as tax inspections.
(GROUP) REPORTING/CONTROLLING & TREASURY:
  • Preparing of financial & business reports
  • Treasury/cash flow and liquidity area - managing working capital and preparing cash flow forecast ; foreign exchange exposure (international transactions)
  • Management reporting to HQ as well as preparing analysis and business explanations regarding the figures in the reports (pricing, margin, profitability, cost optimisation and operational efficiency )
  • Budgeting and forecasting processes in co-op with Finance Director


Wymagania

  • Min. 4-5 years of experience on complex finance role (Finance/Accounting Manager; Chief Accountant with reporting duties)
  • Practical experience in preparing tax declarations and financial statements
  • Operational (not only managerial) experience in covering finance area for company (accounting, controlling, reporting)
  • Wide area of duties (taxes, financial statements, reporting)
  • Practical knowledge of polish reporting and tax compliance requirements
  • Profile: business oriented, 'team player' with clearly communication with various levels of management, hands-on approach
  • Very good command of English (both spoken and written)
  • Experience in SAP (added value but not necessary condition)
  • ACCA/CPA/CIMA/Tax advisory certification - huge added value
