The role: Development Engineer ⚙
Location: Sędziszów Małopolski - hybrid work model

Cooperation with expert teams in France



✅ Responsibilities:
Responsibility for conducting development activities (CAD) from initial design to definition package and for modification of existing parts, taking into account time and cost objectives
Propose and create best technical solutions for new design or production improvement changes in scope of change management process in collaboration with Design and Stress Analysis Teams
Responsibility for preliminary projects and 3D concept studies, 2D drawings, counting of dimensional chains and analysis of the results obtained
Conducting technical research contributing to product improvement or optimization: functional analysis and validation of working characteristics of designed gearboxes parts, assemblies and systems including calculation of loads and static, dynamic and fatigue analyses
Carry out analyze with verification calculation and justification, identifying technical solutions (request for drawing change, Production Permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products and eventually concluding on the acceptability of the non-conformances or providing reworks/repair instructions for production department
Thanks to his hard experience on mechanical transmissions, responsibility of coordinating a team of managers on a development project
Day-to-day cooperation with colleagues from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of tasks providing the technical support process and products improvement

✅ Our requirements:
Higher technical education (Mechanics, Aerospace, Structural Engineering or related fields)
Experience of working in a design office on mechanical transmissions for aeronautics
Design and GD&T experience reading and understanding of technical documentation and definition drawing, stack-up calculations and FEM analyses
CAD software user (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc)
Good command of English (min. B2 level)
Skills in conducting technical projects and managing a team
Very good communication, teamwork, work under time pressure skills
Results orientation
Decision making skills
