Zakres obowiązków

1. POLISH ENTITY

ACCOUNTING & TAX
  • Full responsibility for the finance function of the Polish entity, including accounting, controlling, treasury, and statutory compliance.
  • Preparation and review of tax calculations and tax declarations (VAT, CIT, and other applicable taxes) in cooperation with the Senior Accountant.
  • Preparation of full statutory financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Oversight of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and statutory reporting activities in cooperation with SSC.
  • Preparation of financial and statutory reports required by external institutions, including banks, tax authorities, and the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
  • Management of intercompany reconciliations and settlements.
  • Supervision and control of settlements with banks, suppliers, customers, other business partners, and provisions.
  • Management and coordination of the annual external audit process as well as tax audits and inspections.
REPORTING & CONTROLLING
  • Preparation of financial and business performance reports.
  • Delivery of management reporting to HQ, including detailed financial analysis and business commentary explaining key variances and performance trends.
  • Coordination of budgeting and forecasting processes in cooperation with the Country Manager.
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with Group Finance and other business functions.
  • Supporting the General Manager and Group Finance in strategic and operational financial projects.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business performance improvement.
2. CEE SUB-REGION
  • Acting as the senior finance leader for the (CEE) sub-region (Poland, Hungary, Czechia/Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and partly Ukraine)
  • Owning and monitoring sub-regional financial performance (Revenue, Gross Margin, EBITDA, SG&A, Working
  • Capital and Free Cash Flow)
  • Lead annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across the sub-region
  • Leading cyclical business performance reviews (profitability/sales analysis, operational efficiency, ROI
  • Treasury Management (working capital improvements; credit/risk management etc.)
  • Support strategic initiatives (market expansion, portfolio optimisation, pricing decisions, investment evaluations and business transformation projects)


Wymagania

  • Min. 4-5 years of experience on complex finance role (Finance/Accounting Manager; Chief Accountant with reporting duties)
  • Experience as a Regional or Cluster Finance Manager, with responsibility for entities across multiple countries - would be a strong asset.
  • Practical experience in preparing tax returns/declarations and statutory financial statements in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards (PAS) and IFRS.
  • Operational (not only managerial) experience in covering finance area for company (accounting, controlling, reporting)
  • Practical knowledge of polish reporting and tax compliance requirements
  • Profile: business oriented, 'team player' with clearly communication with various levels of management, hands-on approach
  • Very good command of English (both spoken and written)
  • Experience in SAP (added value but not necessary condition)
