Chief Accountant (f/m)

ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

- Managing and organizing the work of the accounting department, including effective task delegation and monitoring their completion
- Supporting and developing the competencies of the accounting team
- Coordinating daily full accounting processes within the company
- Responsibility for the monthly closing process and annual financial reporting
- Cooperation with tax advisors and public institutions (Tax Office, National Bank of Poland, Statistics Office)
- Cooperation with external and internal auditors
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with the Accounting Act and the group’s policies
- Supervising the correctness of tax settlements (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, JPK)
- Reconciling account balances and controlling balances
- Participation in budget preparation and analysis
- Ongoing cooperation and communication with SSC and other departments within the company

WYMAGANIA:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Very good practical knowledge of tax regulations and the Accounting Act
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written (daily cooperation with an international team within the group)
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Highly developed analytical skills, accuracy, and timeliness in completing tasks
- Very good organization of both personal and teamwork
- Strong leadership competencies, including effective and clear communication skills
- Ability to build a cooperative atmosphere within the team and motivate employees to achieve common goals
- Proactive approach to work and initiative in improving processes
- Higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics)
