    Proteon Pharmaceuticals is a Polish Biotech company headquartered in Łódź (Poland) operating globally and having an international shareholding.

    A leader in its field, Proteon modulates the microbiome to improve animal and human health. Our animal health products allow farmers to reduce the need to use antibiotics, enable more sustainable agriculture, improve food safety/quality and increase productivity by eliminating on-farm animal health challenges.

    To support its development, Proteon is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Partnerships team. The incumbent will support business partnering activities, market and competitor analysis, new ideas market assessment, business planning and long-term forecasting

    The incumbent will enjoy working independently, conducting their own research and analysis to support Proteon’s various goals. They will be comfortable working with and identifying disparate data sources, organizing information and applying methodological rigour to build business cases and provide insight into Proteon’s innovative products. They will be excited by the opportunity to engage with and influence across a business which is growing rapidly and is, by its nature, already global in scope and perspective.
    
    

    Main work location: Warsaw, Poland. Occasional international travels are involved.

    Your responsibilities

    • Preparing business plans for individual projects and partnerships,
    • Developing and maintaining the Market and Competition analysis,
    • Assessing the market needs and the profitability of new ideas,
    • Integrating product and project profitability plans into the budget and long-term plan of the Company,
    • Coordinating with other Proteon departments to identify risks, outlining key project milestones and timeframes, in order to integrate into the project model,
    • Keeping business plans up to date during regular review processes,
    • Build and maintain modelling tools necessary for the activity.

    Our requirements

    • 3-4 years of experience in an analytical role;
    • Relevant educational background in STEM field or economics/MBA program;
    • Previous experience in animal health, veterinary or pharma industries is a big plus;
    • Experience in analysis of data from multiple different sources;
    • Strong Excel experience and ability to demonstrate precision and accuracy in building and developing financial models and analysis/dashboards in excel (business plan, forecasts, etc);
    • Strong presentation skills;
    • Strong English (must be functionally fluent).

    Your responsibilities

    • To coordinate the calendar, to organize tasks, meetings and other events

    • To follow-up the execution of tasks by the CEO / taking care of deadlines for him

    • To organize business trips, travel arrangements and to keep track of itineraries

    • To compile expense reports and to prepare the settlement of business expenses

    • To contact people within the organization to solve problems

    • To support the CEO in the preparation of ppt presentations

    • To be the point of contact for communication with the CEO as well from outside the organization

    • To manage business tools - car, computer, phone, office supplies

    • To perform other supporting duties upon request

    • After some time to go through the incoming documents and emails, especially to pinpoint the priorities and to dispatch them to the responsible person inside the organization

    Our requirements

    • Work experience minimum 3 years

    • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills

    • Keeping total confidentiality

    • Curious and willing to learn

    • English and Polish full working proficiency

    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Office

    • Law, administration, management or related fields of study
