GL Accountant with Spanish

GL Accountant with SpanishZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

- Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded
- Process asset additions, disposals, transfers, and write-offs in the accounting system
- Calculate and post depreciation entries in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards (IFRS / local GAAP)
- Collaborate with procurement and project teams to properly capitalize qualifying expenditure (CapEx vs. OpEx assessment)
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring, accrual, prepayment, and correction entries
- Perform GL account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a monthly basis
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of fixed asset and GL schedules
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
- Support external and internal audits by providing documentation related to GL balances, asset movements, and valuations
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls

WYMAGANIA:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on General Ledger or/ and Fixed Assets
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably S4HANA)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement changes
- Proficiency in Polish, English and Spanish is required
