For our client, an international industrial company strengthening its European operations, we are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead one of the key manufacturing sites.Place of work: Northern Poland/ Pomerania Region (relocation package available)GI Group Poland is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:
Job description:
* Lead the full operational performance of the plant, including production, quality, engineering, maintenance and H&S
* Drive operational excellence by implementing Lean as a daily management system and developing strong routines in problem solving and KPI‑driven performance
* Build and execute a clear multi‑year strategy focused on efficiency, quality, technical capability and organizational development
* Strengthen technical competencies within the plant, including tooling, maintenance and process engineering
* Manage CAPEX projects related to equipment upgrades, layout improvements and automation initiatives
* Develop and mentor department managers, building a collaborative and high‑performing leadership team
* Lead cultural and organizational change by engaging employees, improving communication and developing frontline leaders
* Build trust and credibility across all levels of the plant through transparent communication and hands‑on leadership
* Foster a culture of communication, engagement and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization
* Cooperate closely with European leadership teams and contribute to cross‑site best practice sharing

WYMAGANIA:
Requirements:
* Minimum 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in automotive or heavy industry
* Proven track record in managing a plant and leading operational improvements or transformations
* Strong practical knowledge of Lean and daily shopfloor management
* Experience in CAPEX planning, equipment upgrades and technical problem solving
* Ability to lead change, build trust and develop teams in a dynamic environment
* Experience working with SAP or similar systems
* Fluent English and Polish
* Willingness to relocate to Northern Poland (for candidates based outside the Pomerania region)
