Laundry Assistant – Season 2026 (Westfjords)

We are looking for one person to operate a laundry in the Westfjords region for the 2026 season (May 25th – Sept 4th).

Responsibilities:
• Sorting textiles, washing, and drying.
• Ironing and folding clothes and bed linen.

Working hours:
Monday – Friday
Start: 08:00
The minimum guaranteed working time is 4 hours per day (08:00–12:00). However, due to increased demand during the summer season, the actual working time typically exceeds a full working day.

The work takes place in a small team and a quiet atmosphere, without direct contact with external customers. This is an ideal offer for someone who values the possibility of working additional paid hours during the season.

Salary:
2,775.88 ISK / hour (Daytime rate according to collective agreement).

Conditions:
• Legal employment under Icelandic conditions.
• Weekends and public holidays off.
• Accommodation and food: Not provided. We assist in finding a room/apartment if possible.

Requirements:
We are looking for a physically fit person (standing work), responsible, and available for the 2026 season.
