Zakres obowiązków

  • Lead and manage tax transformation projects within the life science industry to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Navigate the upcoming VAT process GBS centralisation - relocating regional & global VAT Compliance and VAT Reporting processes to Wroclaw.
  • Analyse existing tax processes and recommend improvements to align with organisational objectives.
  • Provide functional support to cross-functional teams and implement new tax engine solution (Vertex).
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organisation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on tax planning and optimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to teams on new tax processes and systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.

Wymagania

A successful Tax Transformation Manager should have:
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and processes (preferably within the life science industry).
  • Experience in managing transformation projects in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and tax technology / tools (preferably Vertex tax engine, but e.g. Avalara or similar are of value as well) are a must have.
  • Proficiency in using BI tools such as Power BI or SAP Fiori is nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex tasks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across various teams.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • In the years to come this role might require additional direct reports to lead (end goal is to service ca. 60 countries globally) - but at the current (and perceivable future) process stage we focus on process management skills and VAT expertise.
