Zakres obowiązków

  • As an expert in forecasting & demand capacity management, you translate market and demand behavior into capacity requirements for our supplier- and production-network. With your expertise, you will create essential conditions for stable production and the on-time delivery of our vehicles to our customers
  • You create the demand planning for our parts by analyzing the order backlog and demand profiles, recognizing market and demand changes and implementing them in equipment-specific take-rate planning
  • You apply the correct forecasting models during product start-ups and run-outs as well as in the series production phase, thus ensuring a high-quality demand forecast
  • You are responsible for the maintenance and optimization of the forecasting master data
  • For critical parts you analyze the demand forecast and the supplier capacity in order to give an assessment of the situation to purchasing and material management
  • You will be part of the Demand & Supply Cluster and develop, among other things, the tactical demand planning. This means, that you will develop together with the other brands the future process and IT landscape for the 12 months planning from the vehicle volume to the volume of the parts. There you have to take into consideration the production capacities of the Traton plants as well as from our suppliers
  • You will create transparency in the requirements for parts used across all brands and represent them clearly, ensuring that the necessary capacities are built up across the group and that long-term supply for all brands is secured

Wymagania

  • University degree in engineering, economics, business informatics, logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Very good command of English (minimum C1 level)
  • Ideally, you have knowledge/experience in the areas of demand assessment, forecasting methods, capacity management, S&OP, procurement and/or production scheduling
  • Knowledge about bill of materials and/or product documentation systems
  • Good general understanding of trucks and vehicles
  • Ideally, you are good with PowerBI, Python and/or MS Access
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external partners in international environments
