FAMED is seeking for a passionate individual who oversees the design planning, system architecture, the system documentation, including requirements, DHF structure, and the systems engineering processes in the med tec. environment, ensuring timelines, regulatrory standards and to meet the companies goals from a high quality and safety perspective. Within this role the individual will be responsible to drive and support in project programs across the Group in a multi-disciplinary high enganged R&D team.

Software Tester (m/f/d) Research and Development

Location: Żywiec

Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans to ensure software quality and functionality
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, issues, and inconsistencies.
  • Use testing tools and frameworks for automation testing
  • Conduct verification activities to ensure that software meets specified requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify test cases
  • Manage and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports using tools like Jira or similar
  • Support regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing as needed
  • Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Support verification activities related to compliance standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring traceability and proper documentation

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in software testing, verification, and quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, verification processes, and quality standards
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools
  • Familiarity with test management tools like Jira or equivalent
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
