FAMED is seeking for a passionate individual who oversees the design planning, system architecture, the system documentation, including requirements, DHF structure, and the systems engineering processes in the med tec. environment, ensuring timelines, regulatrory standards and to meet the companies goals from a high quality and safety perspective. Within this role the individual will be responsible to drive and support in project programs across the Group in a multi-disciplinary high enganged R&D team.

Systems Engineer Research and Development

Location: Żywiec

Your responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain complex systems and architectures to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Software Development, Hardware, and Quality Assurance to ensure system integrity and performance
  • Define system specifications, interfaces, and integration points
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and compliance
  • Utilize tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar for system modeling and simulation
  • Manage system documentation, including requirements, design, and validation reports, using ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, reqSuite, or similar) to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Support system integration activities and coordinate with suppliers and external partners
  • Implement and improve system engineering processes and best practices
  • Analyze system performance data, identify issues, and develop corrective actions
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections by providing comprehensive documentation and evidence of system compliance

Our requirements


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in systems engineering within regulated environments such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive industries
  • Strong knowledge of system engineering standards and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, reqSuite, or similar) for requirements management, traceability, and documentation
  • Knowledge of configuration management and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • English B-Level ; additional language skills are a plus
