Boomi Integration Specialist

As a Senior Boomi Integration Specialist at Equinix, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects independently, focusing on performance optimization, automation, capacity planning, and SOX compliance. In addition to expertise in audit, compliance, and governance, you will collaborate with business teams, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), and other engineers to design systems and application software. This role also involves mentoring junior team members.

Your responsibilities

Requirements Analysis:

•Review and provide feedback on requirements and functional designs.

Architecture/Design:

•Participate in architectural reviews.

•Design larger enhancements and projects.

•Conduct peer design reviews.

Development/Coding:

•Develop and maintain code for projects and integrations.

•Fix defects and participate in peer code reviews.

Application QA:

•Develop tests and execute test cases.

•Log and manage issues.

•Record and run automated test scripts.

DevOps:

•Define deployment and release guidelines.

•Execute environment planning and manage dependencies.

•Document software configuration management practices.

Support Engineering:

•Capture and maintain an inventory of production applications.

•Assist in preparing application support documentation.

•Troubleshoot basic application issues.

Reporting/Project Management:

•Provide status reporting and release management updates.

•Provide level of effort (LOE).

•Manage assigned development tasks.

Our requirements

• 2-4 years of Boomi integration experience.
• Hands-on experience setting up Boomi environments, preferably on AWS.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and business systems.
• Ability to develop integrations with SAAS, AWS, or on-premises systems.
• Analytical skills for interpreting logs and monitoring dashboards.
• Experience in platform administration and performance testing.
• Implementation of release and deployment processes using CI/CD pipeline.
• Troubleshooting experience with connectors, databases, and web services.
• Thorough understanding of REST, SOAP, and API communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Message Queueing and enterprise application security.
• Boomi platform governance and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Message-oriented-middleware concepts.
• Experience with Kafka, NiFi, RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Familiarity with Boomi Process building and various data formats.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Industry certification preferred.
