For our packaging client we are currently looking for a Purchase Manager.
Type of work: Hybrid from Kraków


Responsibilities:
- Managing the performance and development of the local procurement team by leading by example, supporting and promoting the company's mission, vision and strategy.
- Ensuring that all departmental processes and procedures are met and up to date at all times.
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and reports.
- Achieve cost-effective purchasing of all existing products, in line with company requirements, throughout from established suppliers, by tracking and reporting on key KPIs.
- Approve purchase orders and organise and confirm delivery of goods and services. Conduct risk assessments of potential contracts and agreements.
- Execute the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs. procurement costs.
- Effective optimisation of purchasing activities, e.g. through participation in projects.
- Negotiating with established suppliers and vendors to secure favourable terms and conditions.

Requirements:
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in purchasing management (in a multinational company in an international trading company, preferably in a packaging environment).
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management.
Proven experience of working in a purchasing department.
- Advanced knowledge of English.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools. - In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts and negotiating terms and conditions.
