Supplier chain specialist

Your responsibilities

• developing production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and resource availability,
• monitoring inventory levels, semi-finished products and finished products and ensuring optimal inventory levels,
• cooperation with the purchasing department to ensure the appropriate amount of materials for production,
• optimization of logistics systems to minimize transport and storage costs,
• close cooperation with other departments, as production, sales, quality control and customer service to ensure actions and possible customer requests,
• monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery planning and corrective actions when applicable.

Our requirements

• experience on a relevant position in a railway or an automotive industry will be appreciated,
• knowledge of quality processes and quality suppliers,
• SAP advanced knowledge,
• very good knowledge of English,
• good knowledge of Italian,
• high analytical skills,
• experience and knowledge in a Lean Manufacturing implementation,
• engineering/technical education.
