Zakres obowiązków

  • Oversee the general ledger operations of Swiss entities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Swiss GAAP.
  • Manage statutory audits, tax filings, and local compliance requirements in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Technical Accounting and Legal teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of collaboration and Gross-to-Net agreements.
  • Coordinate with Tax and external consultants to ensure compliance with Swiss regulations, transfer pricing, and intercompany agreements.
  • Oversee allocation of profits and costs across European entities under the Swiss Principal model.
  • Manage accounting entries related to intercompany transactions and transfer pricing adjustments.
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment across all European entities, including SOX compliance.
  • Perform balance sheet reviews, analytical controls, and flux analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Partner with Internal Controls teams to strengthen governance and ensure audit readiness.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance Directors to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Work with Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to optimize intercompany and cross-border operations.
  • Support cash management and FX planning for the regional hub.
  • Act as the key liaison between European Controlling and Global Consolidation teams during the close process.
  • Drive standardization and automation across accounting processes and regional entities.
  • Support the rollout of new tools such as BlackLine, SAP S/4HANA, and other digital finance initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control.
  • Build and lead a team of initially 3 FTEs.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Foster collaboration and engagement within a hybrid working model.

Wymagania

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management roles.
  • Strong expertise in Swiss Principal structures and European accounting frameworks
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER, and European statutory requirements.
  • Experience in managing cross-border entities and leading finance operations in multinational environments.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, Excel and Power BI.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment with high levels of autonomy.
