We’re seeking a Design Systems specialist with experience in large-scale, token-based systems to help drive consistency and quality across our digital products. You’ll collaborate with designers and developers to create, maintain, and evolve reusable UI components for web and mobile, ensuring technical feasibility and design excellence. Proficiency with Figma, Tokens Studio, and a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and React are essential. Your work will help shape standards, streamline design workflows, and empower product teams with a robust, scalable system.

Your responsibilities
-
Architect and evolve a large-scale token-based design system used across multiple platforms and brands

Build and document robust, reusable UI components – from first principles
-
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary front-end developers and product teams to ensure technical feasibility, performance, and accessibility

Define and maintain design tokens, scales, and semantic abstractions in Token Studio
-
Guide and challenge the product teams to use the system the right way, not just the easy way, and actively guide and support the product teams to use the right components and patterns to promote a culture of design quality

Lead design system adoption across the organisation, including education and hands-on support
-
Establish, write, and maintain clear documentation and usage standards
-
Ensure Figma libraries maintain parity with code and reflect system logic and structure
-
Identify and refactor outdated components and patterns across the system
-
Contribute to toolchain improvements that support a healthy design–dev handoff
-
Manage components by working with product designers from across the organisation to understand component requirements, manage dependencies and prioritise development to meet business objectives

Create innovative concepts, detailed prototypes, and polished UI designs that address user needs and business goals
-
Conduct qualitative user tests and A/B tests to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions, continuously improving the user experience.

Experience in e-commerce with focus on enhancing the customer journey

Excellent communication skills in English, confidently presenting designs and articulating design rationale to stakeholders.
Our requirements

Proven experience in building large-scale design systems from scratch
-
Deep expertise in Figma, Tokens Studio, and component-based workflows
-
Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and React (you understand code, not just inspect it)

Ability to think in design patterns and system architecture, not just UI visuals
-
Strong communication skills and experience working directly with engineering and CX teams
-
You’ve supported multiple product teams at once and know how to balance priorities
-
A passion for structure, clarity, and scalability – with a pragmatic mindset
-
Experience in e-commerce with a focus on optimizing the customer journey and conversion is very welcome

Excellent communication skills in English
