Turbine Systems team is looking for
Software Verification & Validation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Turbine Systems, Electronics Group. The Software Verification Engineer will design test cases and test station, will verify embedded code developed for modern industrial electronics hardware that is used to monitor and control gas / steam turbines, or to control electro-hydraulic valves in gas / steam fuel systems in Large Scale Fixed Installations like Power Stations or Refineries.
Your responsibilities

Requirements analysis, test plan and test cases creation

Automate embedded software testing using various tools and approaches
-
Execute automated and manual testing per predefined test plans

Working with software developers to assure software quality

Expand existing automated test frameworks (NI LabVIEW and TestStand)

Testing on real targets and instrumentation with “Hardware in the Loop” concept

Designing wiring diagrams between device under tests and test station
Our requirements
-
Excellent communication skills both in Polish and English
-
At least 1-3 years of experience in software testing (more experienced candidates will be also considered)

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Required good or very good knowledge/experience in:
o NI LabVIEW is a must
o Test automation
o Requirement-based test case development
o Embedded communication protocols and networks like CAN is highly desirable
o Requirements management tools (DOORS) and version control systems (SVN, GIT)
o Using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, DMM, switches, etc.

Advantage would be:
o Knowledge of NI TestStand, LabVIEW FPGA
o Knowledge of C programming, Python or any script programming languages
o ISTQB Foundation Level certificate
o Basic experience in Linux environment

Working on assigned tasks independently to meet schedule
